Randy, our son-in-law had this on one of his Facebook postings and I couldn't resist adding it to today's post.
S'mores are one of our favorite things about camping and we were disappointed on our first night of camping at Cave Creek that it was too windy to have a fire, as a result, no S'mores. Tracy even threatened to cook the marshmallows over the stove.
To ensure that we were going to get our S'mores fix, Tracy insisted that we start the fire before sunset in case the winds kicked back up once it got dark. She had all of the necessary components ready to go and we had our S'mores as appetizers prior to dinner. The good news was that the wind behaved and we were able to get an additional S'more in after dinner. I appreciated that, because the first one wasn't all that great when I washed it down with a sip of Pinot Grigio. Can't wait for our next camping trip and our next round of campfires and S'mores!
