I have been enjoying visiting blogs and decided to start my own, even though I don't know what I am doing or if anyone will even be interested in reading what I have to say. I am a 50 year old management consultant who has been married to the the love of my life for 30 years and have two grown daughters and a son-in-law who we are very proud of. We are blessed to live in Scottsdale Arizona and are enjoying getting out and experiencing it in our RV! Thanks for stopping by our blog and please consider joining us, who knows where we will go...Kevin & Tracy.

Ready To Blast Off And The Shuttle Has Landed!

Well I am starting to get really excited as we begin to load the rig for our first outing of the camping season.  The refrigerator has been cooling down the last few days so that I can enjoy an ice cold Miller Lite after we have set everything at the campground, can't wait.

As many of you may have seen on the news, the Space Shuttle Endeavor honored former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords with a flyover of her hometown, Tucson, on its way from Texas to a California museum where it will be displayed.

My wife's cousin James who is an attorney in Los Angeles took the following pictures of the Space Shuttle as it made its way through the streets of the city to its final resting place at the California Science Center.  I had heard that it was a big job getting the Shuttle through the city and it required the removal of several large pine trees, which is always sad.

Well I hope you enjoyed the pictures and that is it for now. Hopefully more to follow from the campground and I hope your week is going great! Take care.

  3. Amazing photos of Endeavour. I'm hoping to be able to see it in person at the museum in LA this winter.
