I have been enjoying visiting blogs and decided to start my own, even though I don't know what I am doing or if anyone will even be interested in reading what I have to say. I am a 50 year old management consultant who has been married to the the love of my life for 30 years and have two grown daughters and a son-in-law who we are very proud of. We are blessed to live in Scottsdale Arizona and are enjoying getting out and experiencing it in our RV! Enjoying Lake Havasu!

I had a speaking engagement this afternoon in Lake Havasu so I asked Tracy and Sarah if they were interested in riding along.

The weather here yesterday was terrible according to several people who attended the luncheon, but it was beautiful today.

Tracy was off to a 50th Birthday Party of a girlfriend in Thousand Oaks, CA, so Sarah and I drove up to Havasu this morning and had a great time driving and catching up.

After my speech, Sarah and I looked in the shops by the London Bridge and then went to the movies to see Taken 2. Wow, that was an action packed movie, from start to finish. I would recommend it if you like those types of movies and don't mind seeing 20 or so bad guys meeting their demise.

From there it was time for Fajitas at the Javelina Cantina, they were sure good and our view was great.

Well we sure saw a lot of RV's heading to Quartzsite, even though it is still a little hot out there.

Well we will enjoy breakfast in the morning and will then head south and then east to get back home.

I sure hope you are going to enjoy your weekend and thanks for the visit!

  1. Square flying saucers in your London Bridge photo? Or reflections from inside a building with fluorescent lights?

    1. Susan - Nice catch, I hadn't even noticed that. I took the photo from one of the windows in our meeting room and it reflected the fluorescent lights. Could be the next UFO mystery in Arizona:-)

  2. So nice to be able to mix pleasure with business, a few quirks of having your own business. We always enjoy Lake Havasu when we are in the area too.

  4. Even though the locals said the weather was terrible, I'm with you it looked great. Looks like you and Sarah had a good day of bonding and visiting.

Kathy and I saw the first movie Taken and sat on the edge of our seats the whole time. From what you said about Taken 2 we'll definitely be going to see it. Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  5. I can't believe that we haven't taken the time to go to Lake Havasu but we haven't. Maybe when we're in Q in January. Nice that you and Sarah had time together. Very special.

  7. We enjoy spending time in Lake Havasu. We often shop there when RV'in at our favourite spot on the Colorado River. Jeanette and I have seen a few movies in the town too, most often when the gale force winds rear their ugly heads.
