I have been enjoying visiting blogs and decided to start my own, even though I don't know what I am doing or if anyone will even be interested in reading what I have to say. I am a 50 year old management consultant who has been married to the the love of my life for 30 years and have two grown daughters and a son-in-law who we are very proud of. We are blessed to live in Scottsdale Arizona and are enjoying getting out and experiencing it in our RV! Conundrum!



I hope that you and your families all had a safe and enjoyable Easter weekend.  Based on your blog posts, many of you enjoyed some wonderful Easter meals and probably ate way too much, just like I did. 
Well it’s hard to believe that I started our blog over a year ago after enjoying your blogs for many months.  When I started the blog, I figured I would get it up and running and would probably shut it down after a few months. I have to say that I have enjoyed it so much and have made contact with such great people, that I would find it very hard to stop my blogging activities now.  

Here comes the conundrum…When I named our blog “Adventures of a 50 year old!” I really wasn’t thinking about what would happen when I turned 51.  Well that day arrives tomorrow and I am not sure what to do with the title of our blog, if anything.  

I know that several people have their 29th Birthday for many years, so maybe I just leave it alone and celebrate 50 for the next few years.  I also thought that 50 could stand for the entire decade, for which Tracy didn’t agree.  So, I need your feedback on what I should do, if anything to address this conundrum.  

Thanks in advance for your ideas and I want to wish many of our Canadian friends God speed and safe travels as they start to make their trek back to Canada over the next few days and weeks.

    Meh, just go with it. Anyone who is surfing on through isn't going to know the difference, and the rest of us couldn't care less. It's your blog, who says any of it is the whole truth??

    I have to agree with both Bob and Judy. Judy suggested a word insertion like possibly the word plus. Or as Bob said don't worry about it and just keep Enjoying Life and telling us about it. Be Safe.

    If I was you I would leave it because it might make it hard for people to find you if you change now. Speaking from experience... someone just changing theirs I couldn't find her for a while. Of course it is your blog and you should do what YOU want. But even though you are turning 51 you are still 50. Again...it is YOUR blog so if you are ready for a change do it. But you might post it on your blog with the new address.

    I thought something similar to Judy and Emma, just put a "+" after 50 and you've got your decade thing legitimized :-)

    Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it one way or the other. You'll be in your fifties for 10 years. You could always put a plus sign after 50. Glad you are enjoying blogging.

    I agree with with Bob, Its your blog you can be as old as you want. I have been a 50 year old for 13 years now and plan to be 50 for many more years.
