I had many great Birthday wishes from family and friends through Facebook along with text messages and Birthday cards.
The day finished with dinner and dessert at Oregano's. Tracy and I both agreed that we ate way too much, but we managed to eat an entire cookie and ice cream, just couldn't resist.
Yum! |
Tracy bought me a new set of TV ears, which is actually a gift for her as much as it is for me. Let me explain...the older I get, the louder the TV gets and Tracy gets tired of listening to my reality and cop shows. So this enables me to hear everything, while keeping the house perfectly silent for her. It is a win/win.:-)
Got my ears on! |
We continue to enjoy this wonderful weather and can't wait to get out camping at McDowell Mountain Regional Park this weekend. It is supposed to be in the 90's, so we may be giving the AC a workout.
We hope your week is going well, travel safely and thanks for the visit!
Happy birthday! I also have a set of those TV ears:)
ReplyDeletehope she got you something more than notes and some TV ears... wink... wink...
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Russ has a set of those TV ears and loves them. However I think the grands unhooked them to hook in the Wii or some such as they aren't working now. Have to check into that.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to a fellow 51 yr old. We are about the same age as my birthday is March 1st. Glad you got lots of comments on your title, hope we didn't seem pushy. Your ice cream and cookie yum yum!!!

ReplyDeleteI have a hearing loss to and it is for speech recognition, so the hearing aids route it is for me. The tv was loud enough, could just not understand the words.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Kevin, 50 was a great year and so far as a 51 year old I have reversed the aging process. :) It may be that we appreciate each day more as we get older.
