Now I have to admit that the only reason I am paying $2.55 per gallon, is that that Tracy buys all of our groceries from Safeway and they offer a .10 cent per gallon discount for every $50 spent up to $1.00 off per gallon, so that is why I was able to fill up yesterday at this very low price.
Unfortunately our motorhome was already full, otherwise I could have gotten 30 gallons at this price, but I am happy to have filled the car.
Wow...$2.55 per gallon...really! |
In the meantime, I hope you are all having a great week and have some great Father's Day plans for Sunday. Take care and thanks for stopping by for an update.
Our gas prices here in Oregon have been just about the highest in the country...sorry about that. Isn't it amazing how anything less than $3.00 a gallon seems like cheap gas? Too bad I can still look back to when it was only 25 cents a gallon...but then again...that was a long time ago. It's my short term memory that's not so good anymore. Maybe that's what they are counting on with those current gas prices?
ReplyDeleteAt those prices I may have to drive down there and fill-up!! (NOT) Our Safeway doesn't have gas but we have a similar thingy with Fred Meyer. But their top discount is 15¢. Gas is just now barely under $4.00 here in Eugene, OR.
ReplyDeleteWe are nearly double that here in the Chicago area. I'm glad somebody is getting it at a good price!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend when it gets here,
Erik
I haven't been paying much attention to gas prices since we use diesel. But diesel here in Montana is about 20 cents more per gallon than we were paying in AJ. I miss the desert but those over 100 temps are pretty hard to take, day after day.
ReplyDeleteExcellent gas price, ours is pretty low right now but still about $4.65 per US gallon.
