We have all been fine since our last post. Our kids are doing great. Our oldest Stephanie and her husband Randy bought a beautiful home in Donald, Oregon. We are so proud of them.
Our youngest Sarah graduated from ASU (our last post) and landed a great job with Tuft & Needle and she loves it. She has been traveling the world including this trip to Paris with two of her teammates.
Tracy and I have busy working and saving for retirement, only 10 years to go, it will go fast, right? We had great trips to Oregon to visit our kids, to Ventura, La Quinta and Charlottesville, Virginia to visit family. We have had fun!
We sold our '93 Tioga, fondley known as "Iris" and bought a new to us 2003 Holiday Rambler Vacationer and have been enjoying it.
We have been working out the kinks like check engine lights and a leaking slide seal, but we have taken it out three times since we bought it in October and it is so nice to have all of the space and comfort.

We rang in 2017 at Usery Mountain Regional Park.
It has been cold and rainey, but when you have heat, a comfy recliner, great food and football, let it rain!
So that is our New Year's update, one of my New Years resolutions is to post more, now that we have Holiday, there should be more to share. 😀
Thanks for sharing all of your adventures with us, we sure enjoy it! Here is wishing you all a very safe, healthy and happy 2017! Thanks for stopping by for our update.
You're just around the corner from us at Usery. Like the looks of the new rv. Really glad to hear from you again and to know everybody is doing good. Our kids bought a house this year and that was exciting so I know how you feel. Have a fantastic 2017.
ReplyDeleteWe have truly missed hearing what you have been up to. Please don't wait so long to keep us up to speed. Glad to read that you still hold the dream of one day traveling around this beautiful country as an RVer. Not sure that we can meet up this year but from the sounds of it we'll be back next year so we could set up a visit. Unless you plan on being at the Blogger-Fest on Saturday the 28th in Quartzsite.
ReplyDeleteRemembering when both the girls were both still in school, boy have things changed.
Wishing You Both a Safe, Happy and Prosperous New Year.
Rick and Kathy Rousseau
It's about time.
Wow so nice to here from you again. the sooner you retire the better, life is too short. Now a Holiday Rambler vacationer short ne awesome! ours is a 1999 and treat us well , we love it and have been living in it for almost 11 years now, I am sure you will enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteAlso great to hear the family is doing well too.
A very nice update. And congratulations on up-scaling from Tioga to Holiday. It looks like a very nice Class A.
ReplyDeleteAll the very best of success this 2017 and beyond.
Thanks for all of the great comments and well wishes Rene and we were hoping to make it to Quartzite Rick the end of January, but that is the same time as the Phoenix Open Golf Tournament that my company is involved in, so we will have to see.
ReplyDeleteGeorge, I may be reaching out to you for some HR advice, hope ours treats as well as yours has.
We sure enjoyed Usery Mountain Park other than the weather. Sandie, I know why you and Jim live in the area, beautiful! The good news is that it showed me a leak in our bedroom slide seal that I will have to fix.
Enjoying posting from an App that I bought for my iPhone, makes it so much easier than the PC version.
Have a great week and stay warm!
